Implement the Open Graph protocol

I recently learned about the Open Graph protocol which enables any web page to become a rich object in a social graph. This works by adding additional meta data to your web pages, in order to provide enough information to richly represent any web page within the social graph. Social websites like Facebook understand this protocol, but so does this discussion board, for example. This can be demonstrated by simply pasting a webpage URL on a line of its own. Take for example this URL of a movie webpage:

Pretty cool no? But GetGNULinux.org does not yet implement the Open Graph protocol, and thus it will look like this:

That’s a shame. I think we can do better.

Basic support for the Open Graph protocol has been implemented. This is what it now looks like:

It will look even better once we have a logo and graphics. But these will need to be designed first.
